I got sent this image (click for a larger version) tonight. According to the site it was posted at, this is a truely genius piece of work — someone actually managed to scale up to wherever the sign is and alter it. In other words, this isn’t just some joker with Photoshop at work — this is a real-world hack job. Just wonderful…goes to show that there still are some truly cool people in the world.

If we the end-users would just NOT buy anymore of this hideous software or buy from the computer makers that force it upon us ,we could put a stop to this. We dont buy , changes will HAVE to be made. That simple..I REALLY wish people would start to read the “end user” agreements and see whats going on, it’s crazy to agree to these things.Learn to SAY NO not complain on message boards.
Say NO to product activation/hidden processes by NOT buying it ! Seems most people (not aware) like XP and along with this they send the signal that software activation/hidden processes are ok , it’s NOT.
Want to surf the world without any trace of tracking or privacy issues ?? Buy a shortwave radio
One last thing , where are the smart people in this world ???? cant anybody come up with an easy to use for the masses ,straight forward operating system ?????
Recently, I had the displeasure of servicing a PC with Windows XP Home edition. It was plagued with viruses and mal-ware. The customer was inistant in perserving the data…so I started the long process if removing everything manually…after about 3 hours the machine was running pretty smoothly.
Then I said…we should finish-up by installing the latest XP service pack…BIG MISTAKE…an hour later it was still installing…when all of a sudden the POS re-booted…and re-booted…and re-booted.
It was already after midnight so I decided to call it a night. After getting home…I researched symptom on the net…for PETE’S SAKE…there is a tick box set by default…the system reboots at all critical stops…who was the crap for brains that thought that one up…so the ONLY fix is a fresh install…and you can bet I will not install Windows XP…
