Oingo Boingo
Music 09/11/2002 |Y’know, I wish I had an excuse for not discovering Oingo Boingo years ago…but I don’t.
However, somewhere along the line I ended up with the Best O’ Boingo CD. I don’t know that I’d ever even listened to it before, but ever since I got my iPod whenever an Oingo Boingo track shows up in the random playlist I use, I end up thinking it’s really cool, checking to see who it is, and kicking myself for never having gotten into this group before. I really should have — I’ve liked their song ‘Dead Man’s Party’ for years, and have thought for a while now that Danny Elfman creates some of the best movie scores I’ve heard, but I still didn’t ever bother investigating them.
Ah, well. Better late than never!

Music never hides in a place that your heart lies. A secret, seldom place, in a feeling that never dies. Passion is rebel that will never wish to sleep, and rises up benieth you to trust you with its keep. It’s restless with its angst and always burdoned with betrail, for losing all its memories, but never wishes you to fail. It’s timeless or its fleeting to those of us who care, but I always felt that losing you guys was never ever fair.
Stupid Poem, but please make songs again. My favorit bands are Korn, Static_X, and Oingo Bongo. I will always love you guys! I just wish it wouldn’t end!!!

I’d like to say SHIT, I thought it didn’t get through, sorry. Sorry for posting too much, I love Danny Elfman and I want him to make more albulms. Is there anyone out there who can force him to do it? I guarntee he would do well. He is amazing and a creature of timeless theatrical and musical aptitude.
Thanks Danny and fans, Kat, Geramntown, MD
