You live nine blocks from my school? (Seattle University)
stay safe
Jacqueline — looks like it!
Kirsten — oh, I do. If one of those fires ever looks like it’s about to spread, I’ll be out of here…stopping just long enough to unplug and haul out my G5.
“stopping just long enough to unplug and haul out my G5”
Haha! There was a fire in my townhome development a few weekends ago and I though for a minute about how quickly I could unplug the G4 but after thinking about it for awhile I figured that would be a good excuse to upgrade.
I lived in the Jensonia back in the eighties and I love that perfect example of the “Moorish” style. It is actually a very grand building, (Or was) and despite the evidence of any regular maintainance, and I became rather attached to the place. It was a fantastic haven for one that had been through the proverbial wringer and needed to take a rest. I remember every detail of the place, and miss it constantly. The thought of tearing it down makes me sick to the point that I now buy MegaMillions tickets in the hope that I can buy and restore it. This place is one that has been mismanaged for a time, yet could really shine, given the love she deserves. All I can add is Please Don’t Tear Her Down! There are many others, I promise, that feel as I do. This is a gem, and a rare example of a truly unique style, that must be saved for Seattle history!
