404 PDF
Humor 03/16/2004 |While on lunch, I saw a license place with the combination 404 PDF.
I guess that’s the code Cirque du Soleil would use when they can’t find one of their performers?

Well, admittedly, a joke is never as funny once it’s explained, but:
404 is the error a webserver returns when it can’t find a document.
PDF is the file format used by the Adobe Acrobat software program.
Therefore, a “404 PDF” would be a “missing acrobat”.
…
Well, it was funny when I thought of it…

LOL, I feel like an idiot. Of course I know what the 404 error is and I even muttered to myself “can’t find acrobat file” but I still didn’t get it. Thanks for the explanation!
