  1. I saw this and was really disturbed. I don’t think the families of these soldiers have fully come to grips with what a sad sacrifice their sons and daughters have made, especially to a President who hasn’t yet had the decency to attend a single memorial or funeral service. And yet, the God-fearing conservatives of the land continue to support this “war.” My jaded comment back to them is “well, why not give up another son or daughter.”

Is it just me, or is there a strangely large amount of quintuplets/ sextuplets/ etc. in this photomosaic?

  3. There would pretty much have to be — the photomosaic uses a 30x42 grid of pictures, for a total of 1,260 individual pictures. Since we’re “only” up to 638 deaths, most pictures would need to be repeated at least once, and a few will probably be repeated more times than that in order to keep the coloring correct.

That doesn’t make this any less disturbing for me, however.

  4. Regardless of whether a few pics are replicated or not… it’s a genius work.

  5. We’ve made the same kind of picture, But we have not so many ‘pixels’, cause we made the poster in September. We’ve used only 274 pictures. We’ve made a playcard, the Joker, with it. Joker. PIEK! posters are available ;-)
