Garage Sale: DVDs
Film, Life 04/20/2004 |Okay, here’s part two of my online garage sale: the majority of my DVD collection is going up for grabs.
As shipping on DVDs is a lot more reasonable than it would be for the electronics, though, this one’s open to anyone who might be interested. As before, please leave comments on this post for what you’re interested in instead of contacting me directly, as it will allow me to keep track of things on a “first-come-first-serve” basis, and I’ll get back to you to set up the details. As far as payment goes, PayPal will be preferred, but local buyers will also have the choice of cash or check if it can be handed directly to me.

Randee, Jane — I’ll get you both e-mailed after I get home from work tonight. For now I’ve gone ahead and marked off the ones you claimed, though, so you both should be good (though Randee just beat you to Memento, Jane — sorry about that!). Thanks much!

Randee, Jane, Tim, and Mike — you’ve all got e-mail heading your way.
Thanks, all!
And I had to admit to owning the GGW discs in the first place, Mike!
To be honest, though, they were more entertaining than I expected — since the girls know what they’re doing and have to give consent, most of them just have fun with it. Not nearly as “controversial” as I’d thought. Not exactly “good, clean” fun, sure, but fun none the less.

I’d accept 13 Days as a birthday/Mother’s day gift — or Secretaries day, which it is right now — and I’m a (paid) secretary again.

Mike,
If they’re still available, let’s add:
That would add $51 to my current $40. I’ll wait for a confirming or denying e-mail that they’re still available before Paypalling you the moolah.
One question about one other of your titles. There is a Terminator 2 release out there which has about 16 minutes of additional footage … there is, for example, a scene where they flip some sort of “learning switch,” and he begins to act more human. And you get to see the alternate ending they would have had … any idea if that’s what you’ve got? I have a VHS two-tape set called “Terminator 2: Special Edition” that has this, but I’d love to replace it with your DVD if that’s what it is. I don’t think it is, though, I think that’s called the T2 Extreme DVD. But let me know …
Mike
P.S. I’m not going to order them since I have them, but if anyone wants to get Clerks: Uncensored, eXistenZ, or Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back you will not regret your purchase. Especially eXistenZ. It’s a different look at sort-of-the-same concept as The Matrix, and since it came out at the same time, it kind of got lost. But it’s interestsing as hell.

Wow! I ordered the movies yesterday and today they are sitting on my desk waiting for me.
Such service.
Thanks Michael
