Airport Express feat. AirTunes
Technology 06/07/2004 |This looks very cool: Airport Express featuring AirTunes, a small wireless basestation that will connect to a stereo to allow music streaming, for only $129.
Unfortunately, I’m 5 minutes away from the start of my shift, so I can’t explore in detail yet. Grrrrr!
(Okay, I’ve skimmed through a bit more. I want. Of course, I’d need an airport card for my G5 too…but I want. Geeklust yay!)

Here comes the hard questions.
iTunes supports radio mp3 feeds like KCRW, home of Le Show (http://www.harryshearer.com/) America’s finest radio program. But in all this talk about cd’s/downloads, does AirPort Express also support the mp3 feeds?
And what of Live365.com?
Live365 has a mini-iTunes interface just for OS X. But will AirPort Express handle it?
I’d love to hear the 70’s prog rock feed or old time radio shows on the stereo.
If I start Safari and go to the BBC can you listen to BBC6 on the stereo since it works with RealAudio only? How would your audio jack know the difference?
It’s asy to get slobbery over this thing. But in everyting I’ve read it seems like Apple’s p-r dept hasn’t given us the whole story.
