Iran planning to attack US forces

“The rhetoric coming out of the Bush administration has convinced Iran that military conflict is inevitable and rather than await an attack at a time and place of America’s choosing, the Iranians will try to inflict significant damage to U.S. forces on Iraqi soil by means of the Mahdi Army and other Shi’a groups,” an informed intelligence source told This Is Rumor Control. Senior officials of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency would not comment on these reports, but a former senior intelligence officer said that the conclusion was “a no brainer.” As he noted: “If you had U.S. troops on your doorstep and George Bush calling you a part of the axis of evil you would take steps to protect yourself. And it would be better to protect yourself on Iraqi soil than to have to do so on Iranian soil. That is what they are doing. Are we surprised? We shouldn’t be.”
As if we weren’t in a bad enough position already, now Bush’s incessant sabre-rattling has gone and apparently stirred up another hornet’s nest. We could be in a world of hurt soon, if this comes to pass.
When this was all getting started, there were a few satirical articles floating around (that I don’t have time to search out links for right now) taking all of the US’s stated reasons for invading Iraq and turning them around as if it were the US that was going to be invaded due to our stockpiles of WMD’s, propensity for invading sovereign nations, and so on. Things like this sometimes make me wonder if we might not be that far away from that actually happening (realistically, probably not — we’re still perceived as far too much of a superpower to be on the receiving end of an invasion — but we’re certainly not making any friends in the world right now).

What a load of BS.. any excuse.. Iran is and has been backing the militans in Iraq for a long time now.. and this “excuse” is just one of convienance.. They started making nuclear weapons, and planning on it long before we went into Iraq, and long before Bush called them the Axis of Evil.

I am a patriotic person. If the US decides to go to Iran, we will be crippling ourselves. I served in the Armed Forces and am an ex-serviceman. Iran’s national capabilities in the region are up to par with ours. TYhey have the best military force in the region, are modernized, and an educated nation. They possess weapons made to take down our battle ships for which we have no defense. They have an intrnational intellegence and spy network. Military consultants and experts all over the world, including in America and NATO, predict catastrophy for the US military and economy. The world will stop for this war and both the Mid-East and the rest of the world will be destabilized and in up roar. Not only will we be demoralized by the Iranians military capabilities but we will not have enough oil because the Iranian military can close the Persian Gulf. We will lose pace throughout the world and will not have popular support. Bush and the Republicans have already helped spread anti-Americanism world wide. Our interests are facing stronger opposition and resistance worldwide from the Europeans, the Russians, the Chinese, India, Canada, and Latin America. The CIA, the Pentagon, and other dometic and international intelligence agencies have studied different war sceneros and all point to a marginial draw and the destruction of both Israel and the United States’ superpower status. Iran is no where near Iraq and Afganistan and we can not just walk in. The have surface to air missiles, anti-aircract missiles, sub-marines, ballisitic missiles, and high tech nuclear technology and know how. If we go to war we will have to re-institute the national draft, just like Vietnam, except the fact that more Americans will die and we will be fighting a multi-theatered battle with an enemy that has the capabilities to damage us at home. For who ever reads this. Listen to me, “War with Iran spells doom for eveyone.”

bush can suck every persian guy in iran, dont invade iran if u like ur lifesss if bush attacks iran that means he is dealing with ben laden(arabs) dont think war with iran is going to take 1 year or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or…it will take more than 10 years(dont bring old ppl) u can invade iran but only with robots,terminator(:)) iran has one of the best callvary in the world i thin the war with iran is going to happen when us is a lot stronger u have made 2 enemies,afghans,iraqis,palestines,and iran(i dont think so) u dont have enough troops our goverment can not attack usa,lol,(they can take ur troops as hostages,and they can attack israel,if they go down,theyll take some countries down with them 2 now i know that at least muslims r a lot smarter,lol the only thing u can do is dropping bombs on ppls head,and then u come to their city and say:hi we r americans(thats the part that sth might be thrown at u,get ready to run) bush,did u ever think that u might get shot in ur head if u attack iran,lol,it doesnt matter if u r not the president or anything,har kari mikoni ta akharesho bayad beri

The Ancient books say that there will be 2 great powers in the world, The United States and Russia. This comment is for the arabs thinking they rule. My Grandfathers kicked the shit out Italy, Japan, And Germany at the same time. Isreal kicked all your asses in sixdays and they laugh at you till this day. America was weak before world war two and still won. Don’t forget, the U.S. can blow the shit out of Iran if they felt like it!
