Life 08/26/2004 |Today is the 37th anniversary of the marriage of John Hanscom and Roberta Ward — also known quite fondly by me as Mom and Dad (though not respectively…I have an odd family, but not that odd).

Wow! On the day even!
Dad’s in Sitka doing an investigation. Dinner at Simon’s will be a movable feast.
It has POURED all day.
Grandpa’s still in the Pavilion. Mom is hoping he’ll come home soon. He has started practicing walking so he can cover the distance to the dining room for meals. He was the ONLY “casualty” at Shell Point Mom was told. What a distinction.
