Uninspired

I’m sure there’s something out there worth writing about.

I’m just not sure what it is.

iTunesWhat You Own” by Original Broadway Cast from the album Rent (1996, 3:55).

  1. That makes two of us. Bah. pout

  2. We’ve all been through the whole “Why am I here?!” blogger’s phase, where you decide ten times a day you’re going to quit, and then think of something really cool to blog about, but you put it off, and then you forget to blog about the really cool thing and finally you forget what the really cool thing was, at which point you post an entry with a sentence that rivals the endurance of Forrest Gump and decide to tell people that you’re not dead, that you haven’t quit, that you’re just slightly apathetic at the moment and a little listless from lack of social stimulation, so you’re contemplating either closing down the blog or maybe just having a Vanilla Coke and seeing if that fixes things.

  3. ah fuck the vanilla coke.

tell us a story about you! those are always the best.

  4. …maybe just having a Vanilla Coke and seeing if that fixes things.

Amusingly enough, and purely by chance, Vanilla Coke is my current drink (though that’s primarily because the corner store I hit last didn’t have any Dr. Pepper).

tell us a story about you! those are always the best.

That was part of the momentary bummer, though — I couldn’t even come up with anything interesting there.

I’ve had one major thing going on in life for the past couple weeks that was causing me a lot of stress (which, thankfully, is over now) — and because it’s work related, I haven’t felt comfortable mentioning it here. I really wanted to put up a long rant about it, but given past experiences, decided that it was probably in my best interest not to.

Unfortunately, that left me feeling even more frustrated, as I couldn’t even bitch and moan to get some of the stress over the situation out of my system. Then I started looking back over my recent posts, and aside from the 85-90% straight rambling, I was even boring myself. Meh.

No major worries, though, as these things come and go. :) I’ll be fine — sooner or later, something will kick something off (like specialized remote controls) and I’ll be off and running again.
