I didn’t support Mr. Bush and never will however I think this paints the situation with a really large brush. Doesn’t this add to the false belief that everyone outside of a large city is “backward” in thinking?
Yes, I live in a small town and many people here are republican but I don’t feel that they represent everyone. The cover also claims that cities vote democratic which is generally true but is it true in states like Texas?
I support Gay Marriage and as many personal freedoms as reasonable which makes the argument that only cities are progressive etc. etc. false in my eyes.
The cover also commits stereotypes against republican voters.
My last comment will be that I’m afraid that it puts blinders over the eyes of the democratic voters. More or less it claims that “everything is fine, continue as normal.” However, I don’t think that worked last election so why would it work now?
I simply wished to share my prospective. I could be wrong.

Well of coarse any generalization is going to be false, so no it doesn’t apply to everyone in the rural or suburban areas. But statisically, yes. Second of all “the Stranger” is a waste of paper pulp products, and as radical as they are about conservation and the enviroment they sure print enough garbage editorials, opinions and transsexual call girl ads.
