There was a bit of discussion here a few months back about the upcoming Tim Burton/Johnny Depp/Danny Elfman version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. As a quick followup to that, the first poster for the film has just hit the ‘net:

    Very cool poster. Ever since hearing the project first announced by Burton it has been a movie I’ve been looking forward to. If you go to IMDB and read the trivia about it, the screenwriter never the saw the 1971 version, and after he wrote the screenplay, he thought the that version was darker than his. One of the must see movies of 2005.

  2. Well with Burton, Depp and Elfman on board, I don’t really see how this movie could be anything but really cool and great.

    The poster sure looks cool.
