Earlier this month, I linked to a project by Tvindy to collect and anthologize some of the better weblog posts by a number of contributing authors. I really liked the idea, and nominated a few entries for potential inclusion.
Tvindy’s hoping for a little more assistance in culling worthwhile posts, preferably posts chosen by regular readers of the participating weblogs, rather than solely author-nominated work.
As readers, are there any posts that stand out in your mind as particularly noteworthy, for whatever reason? They don’t have to be long, or serious, or anything in particular aside from standing out in one way or another. If so, toss ‘em in the comments here — if you don’t want to dig through the archives yourself, just throw up whatever details you can remember, and I’ll track it down.
Not only will this help the project, but I’d be interested to see what — if anything — comes out of this.

Okay here are my suggestions for posts to contribute…
Obviously (but you’d have to write a blurb explaining it I suppose): Even Microsoft wants G5s
Heavy: Darwin has left the building.
Just a cool post: Back when Anchorage was cool
Jason, thanks for the suggestions. I’ve just finished looking over them and have some thoughts. (Once again, I want to make clear that I reserve no rights to select or eliminate any potential contributions to the book. It’s all about general consensus and what the blogger agrees to release. What follows are just my thoughts.)
The one on the Micrososft G5s is cool. I actually remember reading that over a year ago, and I think it resulted in Mike losing his contract with Microsoft, because they said he had violated the confidentiality agreement.
The Darwin post was good, but I was a bit confused by it, since it refers to earlier material. I wasn’t always clear on what was being quoted (if it came from a previous entry or from the article to which Mike was responding), so my impression is that it might not stand on its own very well in a book.
The Anchorage entry contains a lot of quoted newspaper material, so copyright issues might get in the way.
Those are just my thoughts on those particular articles. I’m thrilled that Mike is participating.
Getting a dead rabbit for Christmas.
I’d forgotten about that one! Here’s the ‘dead rabbit’ link…thanks mom!
I like the dead rabbit story.
