Lightbulb Joke 2005
Humor, Politics January 28th, 2005 |How many Bush Administration officials does it take to change a light bulb? None. There is nothing wrong with the light bulb; its conditions are improving every day. Any reports of its lack of incandescence are a delusional spin from the liberal media. There is no shortage of filament. That light bulb has served honorably, and anything you say undermines the lighting effect. Why do you hate freedom?

I posted this on my blog awhile back, and someone commented with another in the same vein:
How many members of the Bush Administration does it take to replace a light bulb?
Seven: one to deny that a light bulb needs to be replaced, one to attack and question the patriotism of anyone who has questions about the light bulb, one to blame the previous administration for the need for a new lightbulb, one to arrange the invasion of a country rumored to have a secret stockpile of light bulbs, one to get together with Dick Cheney and figure out how to pay Halliburton one million dollars for a light bulb, one to arrange a photo-op session showing Bush changing the light bulb while dressed in a flight suit and wrapped in an American flag, and finally one to explain to Bush the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.

The Iowa State Univ. Democrats are going to love this one (if they haven’t heard it already)! Thanks, Michael

Jordan — as it turns out, I posted that exact joke a while ago. I’d completely forgotten about until I posted this one, and then looked over in the “Related Entries” in the sidebar to the right, and there’s the other one, right at the top of the list. Funny, that!
