Stating the obvious
Photography February 1st, 2005 |I brought up the Flickr page for photos tagged with ‘alaska’ tonight to show it to Prairie — lots of gorgeous shots of my home state — and had to laugh at the “related” tags that Flickr automatically generates.

It’d be hard to beat Alaska’s beauty and grandeur. I think all the rest of the native Earthscapes have been scarfed up. I’d still like to see the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro and Ayers Rock, but I must admit, having seen Denali from across Cook Inlet from some high street in Anchorage is still one of those could-hardly-be-better views of life.
