Acapella Nintendo

It’s not often I find something that appeals equally to two such disparate sides of my childhood — the video game playing geek and the award-winning children’s choir member — but this video of University of Wisconsin acapella group Redefined singing Nintendo theme songs manages to pull it off…and quite well, at that.

Geeky, yes — but very cool!

    NES Acapella

For anyone that hass played Super Mario Brothers, Tetris, or the Legend of Zelda on the original Nintendo Entertainment System, you must see this. It’s simply brilliant.

  3. That was certainly cool. I’ve tried looking for more stuff from them, but can’t find it. I’d love to see what they’re capable of. I’m not even quite sure what to Google for.

I’m familliar with Legend of Zelda, Tetris, and Super Mario Brothers, but who was that guy in the black ninja suit supposed to be?

(any high school choir would be capable of doing something like that to various degrees of excellence, but no one ever thought of it)
