You crazy Americans and your obscure Date Notation, 5/7/5 isn’t for another 8 weeks! I Have no idea why you guys place the month before the day, but it really doesn’t make any sense to me at all. Day/Month/Year or Year/Month/Day is much more logical, since the days change with more frequency than months

Actually, year/month/day makes far more sense to me, too, and that’s what I use whenever I’m including dates in file/folder names that I’m working on. Still, since most of the US uses the odd month/day/year pattern, it seemed best to just go with that for this post.
