I just spent a couple hours playing with another Garageband experiment. Some time ago, Tori Amos released an album of cover songs, one of which was Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy the Silence’. I’d been curious as to what it might sound like if Tori’s vocals were dropped on top of Depeche Mode’s music…and here’s the result. I used the ‘Ecstatic Dub’ mix of ‘Enjoy the Silence’ for the music track, hence the ‘Tori’s Ecstatic’ name for the mix.
My usual disclaimers apply — this is me fooling around, and not perfect — but it’s fun to do. Download and enjoy: Depeche Mode ‘Enjoy the Silence (Tori’s Ecstatic)’ (7.01Mb MP3).

Interesting idea, but the limitations of GB I think prevent this from being “good”. Her vocals seem flat and unemotional.
Cool concept though. Keep it up!
Yeah, there’s only so much you can really do (and some of it I couldn’t even do in Garageband, I used Amadeus to speed up her vocals to match the tempo of the DM track). Still, it made for a good way to kill a couple afternoon hours.
very bad mix !
shouldn’t have done that !
