The New Apartment
Life 09/02/2005 |Finally — pictures of the new apartment!
Each of the following shots has notes added if you click through to the Flickr page, pointing out some of the bits and pieces you see in the rooms.
And now…tour time! First up, the living room, as seen from when you first walk into the apartment:
Next, the living room again, along with the dining nook and a bit of the kitchen, as seen from over by Prairie’s computer in the far corner:
Here’s the kitchen:
Halfway down the hall is my office, which doubles as the guest bedroom (should we ever have guests):
At the far end of the hall is our bedroom:
And finally, outside and at the end of the parking lot, the swimming pool:
All in all, a very cute little place, and we’re quite happy with it.

That looks like a really nice place Michael. More impressive, though, is that it appears you and Prairie have unpacked and set up everything. Or are those boxes just hidden elsewhere?

Hehe — nope, we’re completely unpacked (which is part of the reason I’ve been so quiet lately). First time I’ve had no boxes stashed away in a closet somewhere since I moved down to Seattle.

Using the futon as a judge of relative size, it looks like a mansion compared to the other apartment. Congratulations! Definitely an upgrade in space.

Not counting what’s in Alaska
Mom adds.
Or did you move everything last September?
