Program on the emergence of civilization.
Humor 12/22/2005 |I have no idea what prompted someone to leave this comment on my site, or what relation (if any) they think it might have to the post that it was added to…but it’s just long and bizarre enough that I think I’ll keep it. It didn’t come with any URLs or spam links, so I don’t have to worry about that. Just some odd ranting.

Earliest reference I can find for it is here, but if you hit Google Blog Search, you’ll see it’s been well-spammed around the blogosphere.

Gee, is it obvious that I found it in the morning, not long after waking up? I didn’t even think to do that. Heh.
Ah, well…it’s still just entertaining enough to leave around, as long as I only get it once.

Actually, a search on Google for “roots of racism are not of this earth” yields 12,800 results! Boy, this guy wanted his message heard! Unfortunately, the saturation makes finding the meme’s origin point a little difficult …

SNORT! I liked his ‘royalty is the way to go’ line and Sam Walton as a working class hero was pretty funny too.
I think I met the guy who wrote it this week. Monday we were in Seaside, OR at the one and only internet cafe and there was some guy using one of the computers and yelling into his cell phone about some alleged injustice that had been done to him by eBay and PayPal. If we’d hung around another 10 minutes I think he would have elevated his problem to a plot by the Bavarian Illuminati.

That post got left on my blog, too. What is wrong with this person?
