The End of the Countdown
Television 02/18/2006 |Two quick things regarding Lost:
I’m afraid I didn’t bother with the usual recap of the last two episodes. I’ve been at work ‘til 10pm on Wednesdays lately, so I just watched both of them back-to-back, and…well, I just didn’t feel like doing that. I doubt anyone’s heartbroken, but just in case…sorry!
Oh, sure, the timer runs out…and then you just get to reset it again anyway? What a gyp!
I’m still really curious about the hieroglyphs, though.

My first thought was that the symbols were the same as the symbols on the Darma outposts. But I don’t remember what the Tailies’ symbol was. I didn’t see the swan on the board as I watched it in slo-mo, but it’s quite possible that the last one that didn’t get to flip was, in fact, the swan. No idea what it means, but pointless theorizing is fun.
