Faux Klingons January 27, 2007

No More West Wing January 26, 2007
For a guy who doesn’t much like TV, I’m sure enjoying some of the shows. Quite a bit after the fact, but it’s so much nicer this way!

Drama and Disappointment January 23, 2007
As I mentioned Xebeth and her situation a few times on this site, I’ve gotten a few inquiries as to her current situation, as it’s been a while since I’ve mentioned her. This is why. She’s not dying — but, I’m sad to say, it appears that she’s not well, either.

Not with my $300 million, you don’t… January 19, 2007
You want $300 million of my tax dollars? Put the money towards something — or anything — that would actually benefit everyone, not just those who get their rocks off by watching other people play a game.

TagMaps January 18, 2007
TagMaps is a really cool little toy from Yahoo’s research labs that I just stumbled across. It’s using heavy concentrations of tags on Flickr and overlaying them on a map, allowing you to zoom around the map and see how people have tagged their city.

Resurrected January 15, 2007
With some extra money I earned over Christmas season I was able to pick up Disk Warrior 4 and throw it at the drive. It had to run overnight, and wasn’t able to repair the issues, but it was able to temporarily mount the drive and allow access to most of the filesystem.

Thomas Jefferson’s Koran January 3, 2007
Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, found himself under attack last month when he announced he’d take his oath of office on the Koran — especially from Virginia Rep. Virgil Goode, who called it a threat to American values.

Goodnight, Dr. Frankenstein January 1, 2007
I do believe that ‘The Post-Modern Prometheus’ just vaulted to the top of my ‘favorite X-Files episodes’ list.

Goodbye Vogue, Hello 2007 January 1, 2007
There’ve been both good and bad points to 2006, but overall, Prairie and I are both looking forward to closing it out and getting a new year under our belts. Here’s to that New Year. Hopefully this will be a good one for everyone.
