  1. Happy Halloween! October 31, 2008

A silly, simple one-day-only design change to celebrate Halloween. Have fun today, and watch out for ghoulies, ghosties, and things that go bump in the night!

  5. Where’s Your Ballot? October 28, 2008

C’mon, all you locals. Washington makes this whole voting thing really easy to do. So how come so many of you haven’t sent in your ballot yet?

MTV MUSIC: MTV's new music video archive site is really impressive, over 20,000 videos to browse through. Pity the newer ones aren't encoded widescreen, though (at least, none that I've found so far have been). Standalone VCR party finally ends, JVC […]

  9. McCain Concedes October 23, 2008

When I saw this bit of news earlier today, I had the same thought that Daily Kos does here: he’s throwing in the towel. Since my vote went to Obama, I can’t say that I’m disappointed…but how must his campaign staffers, who still have twelve days to go before the election, feel about this?

  11. Pushing Daisies: Candy-Coated Family Friendly? October 23, 2008

Pushing Daisies is one of our favorite shows on TV right now — wonderfully quirky, and often feels to me like what might have happened if Edward Scissorhands-era Tim Burton had gone into television. The Disney Weblog has been doing weekly wrapups, and something about this week’s review got under my skin a little bit.

Another multi-image collage to tide things over while I try to get caught up with photos. I’ve never seen a human cannonball before, and actually didn’t even know this was still done. Pretty cool to see!

  18. Six Seconds of Cute October 17, 2008

This was one of the best things we saw at the Puyallup fair. Put a kid no older than six (the youngest we saw was three) and no heavier than sixty pounds on a sheep and let them try to hang on for six seconds. Really cute, and really funny!

  20. Single-Image Debate Wrapup October 16, 2008

Given that you couldn’t pay me to vote for McCain, and that I thought he came across as a condescending ass for the majority of the debate last night, I can’t entirely claim that images like this don’t give me a good, very partisian laugh.

  25. Over-Distributed Identity October 10, 2008

What I need is some form of comment aggregator service that would track when a particular post (of any form) is made, monitor its status on each of the various services, then either collect any comments at a central location or even simply alert me when a comment is made.
