Windows 7 + Digital River = Headaches
Microsoft’s partnership with Digital River for electronic distribution of Windows 7 is a customer service nightmare. For the record: as of November 6th, 2009, Digital River’s customer service phone number is (952) 253-1234.

I’m used to ‘customer service’ that actually prevents me from even making an attempt. Being able to toss off a short, quick note and get a useful and polite response within a few hours is wonderful.
Two Phrases
…how egotistical does one have to be to automatically assume that their respect is so fucking important that one must jump through multiples hoops in order to earn it? How about we give people respect because they are humans with lives and feelings just as important as our own?

What it boils down to is that over the years, time and time again, I’ve gotten incredibly friendly and personal service from the crew at Six Apart. I can’t think of a better way to build and maintain customer loyalty than that.
