Graduation Weekend
Well, it’s official (aside from actually receiving the certificate in the mail): I have my Associate of Arts degree. Short updates have been appearing semi-regularly on…well, everywhere, if you happen to be following me on the web, but let’s see if I can back up a bit and fill in a few more details.
Graduating on Friday

The Clothesline Project
The Clothesline Project is a program started on Cape Cod, MA, in 1990 to address the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt.
Pop Culture Disconnect
The professor spent a few minutes talking about the Mongol’s invasion techniques, which were simple but could be fairly ruthless. After summarizing this, he commented, ‘really, they were pretty close to the Borg.’
